| The first vehicle for our trips was a 1970 VW Bus which belonged to Drew's brother, Dave. A very reliable and sure footed transport, the Bus could go almost anywhere a 4x4 could. The picture above was taken in the Spring of 1986 at the Scotty's Castle gas station, Death Valley National Monument, CA. Our first trip out as a trio. Erik took this picture as Drew checks the engine bay. Barry can be seen securing the load. | |||||||||||
