Balance

This photo composite concept was originally done as editorial artwork for the Color Marketing Group Design Influences Report Back after the Fall 1993 International Conference in San Diego, CA. The photographs were taken during one of our "visionquest" camping trips. The rock sculpture was built in in a dry wash, near our campsite. Laying on the ground we shot up at the rocks for that "larger than life" look. The sunrise background was taken the next morning with the first light from over the Eastern desert. The tiny hands represent the human desire to attain balance.
